Yesterday evening I bought this SIM in Steam ,and I was not able to download it.
I am asking for indications (step by step) of the sequence to download it on my PC hard disk.

What does it say when you couldn’t download it, any error message?
I’m also on steam but it’s very straightforward.
- Purchase the game on Steam.
- Use the Library to download the launcher.
- Run the Launcher.
- Login to Microsoft/Xbox account.
- Install the remaining base game package.

How do I download the launcheer from the library?
Again I ask Neo4316 (if he is online), if not, I would appreciate anyone’s answer:
1).- How to indentify the Launcher in library, to download and run it?
2).- Once the launcher is executed, the MSFS download starts, but, from the beginning to the end, or the download, is done in sections (in parts)?

Well, when you finished purchasing the sim, you should have the Microsoft Flight Simulator in your library. When you click it, you should see a button labeled “Install”
Click on that button, and Steam will install the launcher. And you should see the launcher in your desktop as a shortcut. Even so, once it’s done you can select the Microsoft Flight Simulator on Steam, and the Install button should change to “Play”
Click on PLAY, and it will open MSFS for you. Then you will be asked to login with your Microsoft/Xbox account. Once that’s done the sim will start to download the whole game.
It will be downloaded in small packets one at a time and unpacked as you go. Once everything is installed, you will be in the main menu.

It was the first time I entered this forum looking for help for the MSFS download, and you were the first and only one who provided it to me, together with the moderator (Hester40MT), who transformed my topic with a better syntax and pedagogy. I am deeply grateful to you for the dedication and the ability to solve problems that you have given me.
Your second answer was still much better than the first one (very well expressed). In the second one, you also add the image of the Sim and this helped me a lot; so much that I discovered that I had already downloaded the launcher, although I could never see on the screen your previous indication: “INSTALL”. What I had done, was to click on the image of the Sim and it started downloading information. In total it downloaded 1.6 GB. And I already see on screen that image with the indication of “PLAY”. However, the launcher did not create on my desktop, no icon to access the Sim.
Then I had to log in with my MSFS account and the whole download went normally.
Then I encountered another problem) (although I already expected it): that my PC is not able to process all the information of this Sim. I have ordered another more powerful PC, but initially I wanted to check if this PC was able to work even if it was not idle, and it doesn’t work, it takes a huge amount of time to load…etc.
Now I will have to hurry up with the next purchase.
NOTE: I apologize Neo, for the delay in getting back to you. Due to my lack of time, the download was done yesterday, Sunday, and I wanted to get back to you after downloading and verifying the results.
