Here is a tutorial on how I like to plan my flights for a VOR with ILS approach using just my CDI’s and frequencies. This will include how to plan SkyVector to fly from KAXC (Catalina Island) to KBUR (Burbank/Bob Hope). You can follow along with this flight plan but the principles will work in any aircraft. We are using the Carenado PA28R for this flight. Enjoy and please ask any questions as I tried to squeeze it all into one video.
