I am sick and tired of GSX Pro meanwhile. It causes so often problems and now the sound is gone. The implemented Asobo pushback works out at least and it is for free.
Does anyone has a good hint/idea to get my money back? There were so many updates and patches but still GSX Pro is full of errors.

Heavy GSX user here and no complaints, it works fine for me, & great pushbacks (unlike the default sim) are a major plus side of the tool. Servers are down right now, but to be fair that’s the first time in many months of downloading updates that I can remember that being the case.
About the only major issue I’ve seen with GSX is the need to sometimes manually start/restart couatl scripting engine, as it sometimes gets stuck for whatever reason. Many GSX issues I’ve encountered clear when doing that, and you don’t have to restart the sim just coualt. So I’d give that a try first if I were you.
If it’s not in your system tray its not running. If it is you can right click on the couatl icon and select restart.
Did you read my comment/thread? If yes and if you fully understand it (e.g. that I restarted the couatl thing too => no result) than I do not understand your comment. But it happens very often that I get an infinitive loading menu screen which wastes ap. 5-20 minutes until I can start with GSX Pro. And today I had no sound from ground crew while they prepare pushback. That was the point I am done with GSX Pro. And I hope they will refund me so that I only lost time and nerves which is frankly speaking much more than enough to me.
Interestingly I had one (and only one) flight last night that GSX went quiet on me too (so pushback voices were missing). Not sure what was going on. Only once in months of using it mind you, and it’s fien tonight. I do find GSX one of the best sim add ons for enhancing airliner gate ops and pushbacks though. Couldn’t live without it.
Not sure what aircraft you are using GSX with, but I just remembered recently when I switched back to the A320NX (for a few flights) that there is some gated activity. eg where GSX will not do things unless certain criteria are met. So on the A320NX, the chocks don’t get removed until the beacon light gets turned on, and Pushback won’t happen until chocks are removed, so GSX sits there all quiet. Also sometimes ground power can gate this type of behaviour too too. Seems to be different for every airliner though. I’ve also found that sometimes pushback will suspend and go quiet and I hir GSX menu and have to select ‘continue pushback’ which always works.
Just a few of the things you could be running into.
I can under stand OP annoyance, while it generally works and works well it sometimes throws a fit with script errors and i’ve had it recently where it simply refused to restart and i had to twice reboot pc for it to start working again, sometimes i’ve just simply not used it. Sadly if you read the forums plenty of people having the very same script errors but that’s really the only issue apart from that when it works it works well

Couatl is very annoying at times admittedly. Especially a few updates ago where it gave an erroron just about every flight launch and required restarting. That fortunately seems to have gone for me now. For the most part gsx works well though & not had to reboot anything other than couatl.
Imo its almost worth it’s price for the quality of the pushbacks alone.
Actually now you say that since last update it felt more stable and pushback has always worked. These days i usually board passengers and then pushback
Same here. The refueling is a bit to hit or miss across multiple airliners for me so boarding and pushback and docking at destination & deboard are main uses for me too. It definitely improved a bit after the 2.8.3 update.

so i purchased GSX Pro, or so I thought… I paid for GSX Pro but they sent a update for my previous GSX for FSX I am now on FS2020… I received a license for GSX 2.6… I have sent emails to support@virtualsoftware.com and I have not had any response, does anyone have any advice for me, please…

- All i have to do is Purchase a new GSX Pro License and i will get a Refund
- I have purchased a new license and forwarded the Invoice as Proof of payment, now its just waiting for my refund
- I am totally confident it will be done
