How to Graft on King Air Soundset to Payware Beech 99?

Hi, I’d love to use the default King Air soundset for the payware Beech 99.

Anyone good that this kind of tinkering that could help guide me?

It shouldn’t be too hard.

If you know where each planes folder is, then:

Rename the Beech99 sound folder.
Copy the kingair sound folder and paste in the Beech99 folder.
Rename that kingair sound folder, if necessary, to be the same as the original Beech one was.
Now you need to make a new layout.jsn file to replace the existing one in the outer Beech99 folder.
I use MSFS Layout generator to do that.

That should do it!

Do you remove the original sound file completely?

You don’t need to remove it, and you should keep it just in case you want it back.
I would just rename the Beech99 sound folder to something like Beech99sound.orig
