Hello, I purchased Premium Deluxe version recently. Currently I have gamepass version. Should I delete game and then install other version? Or is there a simpler way?
Premium deluxe is simply an addon to the standard version, no need to reinstall. Even people who have bought Premium Deluxe from the beginning simply install the standard version and add the additional premium deluxe product from content manager in the sim.

Even though it’s the gamepass version? Does that count as Standard version?

Looks like the Premium Upgrade is for upgrading
a Deluxe Edition to a Premium Deluxe Edition.
And the Premium Deluxe Upgrade is for upgrading
a Standard Edition to a Premium Deluxe Edition.
If you have a purchased Xbox Game Pass, you should have received a download of the new content, airplanes & airports.
Just start FS2020 and check the Marketplace and Content Manager
and get everything installed.
If you have used the same Xbox ID for gamepass and your full version you will be fine. If you have used a different XboxID it may be more difficult.

I guess and the reason is that you didn’t say if you purchased the:
Premium Deluxe initial version
Premium Deluxe upgrade version
You only stated that you purchase the Premium Deluxe.
And you have a gamepass.
There is a difference.
You have a gamepass (FS2020 version) or a purchased Xbox Game Pass?

Ok, I have Gamepass Basic version
I bought Premium Deluxe (Not an upgrade) in the form of an online code that I have to redeem.
It is stated clearly by MS but is confusing to us if we don’t already understand that the initial purchase of Deluxe and Premium Deluxe require the purchased
Xbox Game Pass.
I had the Deluxe edition installed and bought the Premium Deluxe (not upgrade)
also.
It would not download.
I finally figured out the you have to have the purchased Xbox Game Pass
for it.
I got a refund from MS.
Then purchased the Premium Deluxe Upgrade.
It downloaded immediately.

Just redeem the code at https://redeem.microsoft.com ensuring you log in with the same microsoft / xbox account you are already using for gamepass. The license will be automatically updated.
