How to request a refund?

I want my ■■■■ money back. Hands down WORST game I’ve EVER purchased, and I’ve bought some terrible s#!t. Not one developer cares even a little.

This is something I really wish I didn’t even have to ask for. I purchased a $550 Xbox x simply to play this. I purchased a $200 joystick/rudders, I paid for a month of Xbox live (twice somehow $40) and $129 for the version of the sim that had my favorite airport.

I REALLY want to love this sim. I really do. I spent so much and did so much so I could even play it. It is simply the most broken piece of software I have ever experienced. In the last 20 missions in career mode 19 of them have been so buggy that you can’t even enjoy flying. And AT LEAST 10 have either ended in false aircraft crashes (runway jutting up on takeoff causing me to crash, saying I left parking to early right after I start the mission, the framerate being so bad that I crash on landing etc). And that doesn’t count for when the game randomly crashes upon descent or doesn’t register my landings in career mode.

i need this $129 back on principal. I can probably find some fun in my Xbox still even though I already have a PS5 I play everything else on. I need something here MS/Asobo. I paid a thousand dollars nearly and have nothing except extreme frustration, resentment and literal trauma from a piece of media that was advertised as finished. It’s still…not…even…in…beta…stage…

The amount of time I have wasted playing this, the amount of credits I have lost from your silly little bugs in career mode is astounding. And it seems the sim has somehow gotten worse in career mode in the last two weeks. At least before 1/4 missions were enjoyable.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. This is not ok. It’s simply just not ok.

Sorry to hear of you bad experience with MSFS 2024 and your comment is exactly why I’m sticking with the 2020 version for now. Maybe you ought to try that and as (like myself) you don’t mind spending a bit of cash, you’d do well to get MSFS2020 and ‘BeyondATC’ which ups the immersion factor by 120%. Get a simbrief (free) account, make a plan, start up BATC and off you go. I’ve had zero issues with 2020 - even though my gaming PC is now 5 years old, which is a senior citizen in PC terms. I hope you find some satisfaction and I really do feel you frustration as I’ve had that with other sims. Best of luck to you.

But they are on Xbox so those things you mention won’t be possible (Beyond ATC).

I feel for you man. It definitely still needs a lot more time in the oven. Maybe just play in “free flight” as that is really not that bad at the moment. I’m sure it will come good eventually.

But as for refund you can ask on Zendesk I think.

Sorry about your experiences on XBOX. This sim is currently in Beta 2 right now with the release of it to everyone within the month. They are fixing many XBox issues as we speak, I am not sure if those will help you because no-one knows as yet but the list of fixes is very, very long. I would so hope you stick this out and play in Career employee mode or free flight until the SU2 is out. This 2024 will get better in time, dont get rid of your gear or the sim you paid for, you will be able to use it soon.

It could be worse. Microsoft is hiking the price by $100

Maybe they can sell it for what they paid for it??

Yikes, glad I have everything I need and game pass for the kids and their squirrelbrain attention spans for different games. If they doubled VRAM for that $100 bump I’d buy another one. I just chalk the $140 I paid for my pre-order that will likely take 4 years to be a worthy purchase as water under the bridge, I’ve hit trees with R/C cars and done more damage in a split second, so s-happens with hobbies I guess. I know eventually I’ll be flying 2024, even if it’s 2027…

Exactly. I was so excited when I saw the new EFB after SU 2 came out. I can’t finish a flight without the game crashing now. I have lost about 10 million credits in career mode because of game crashes in the last 6 hrs lol.

Is taking MUUUCH longer than 6 months. Not sure how the devs are making the game 7-8 months later.
