In a few posts scattered here and there I see people recommend filling the tanks up and then selling it before mission complete in freelance mode. How do I sell the fuel?
When you accepted the mission and you stand in the hangar with your airplane, you have a “Manage aircraft” option. This will bring up the maintenance menu, where on the top you have the option “Fuel and payload”. There you can fuel and defuel (in the circle).
They say to sell fuel just as the engines stop, but I dont know how to get to that menu from when in the cockpit? If I wait until the engines stop, then the mission completes. When is it Im supposed to sell the fuel?
I refuel at the end of the mission and sell it as I accept the next mission. I don’t remember any other way, as you said, when the engine stops the mission completes.
Ah, so you dont sell it “just as the engines stop”, but you sell it after mission completion, and as you prepare for doing the next flight?
Exactly. This is the only way I know it and read it. There might be another way that I don’t know of. I never heard about selling just as the engine stops, but I do refuel completely just before the engine stops.
