Is there a way to set this in the MSFS built-in version?
This is a good tutorial but I notice that part didn’t seem to function
Just hit “B” key on keyboard to sync to local barometer. If above FL180, it will reset to 29.92.
Sure there’s always that. I was just curious if the real way was possible.
It depends on the aircraft and the way it was coded. Some third party planes have proper working barometric knobs - i.e., spin to change, press to Sync. Some don’t.
[scratch, not sure that’s right]
This is the Simworks RV-14. It has a backup altimeter but that doesn’t sync.
Definitely a question for SWS then. They have a Discord with a ticket system - they usually respond quickly.
Well it just uses the default FS G3X. I figure if that doesn’t have this functionality then it’s not possible to do.
