How to switch off the outside camera gauges?

Hi adventure seekers in Alaska and Yukon territory,

since the latest update I don´t know how to switch off the outside camera instruments.
The solution Google describes (general options - chase camera - turn off HUD) is simple not there (anymore).

So please let me know what to try next… these ugly arcady gauges are useless and destroy my screenshots quality.

From memory I’m pretty sure there’s a setting under User Experience in the options for this.

Go to the ASSISTANCE OPTIONS - USER EXPERIENCE. Click the down arrow, see Instrument Heads-up Display -Chase Cam. Switch this to OFF

I close the Outside Gauges with the Numlock key.

Excellent thanks for this info. Otherwise I would have been in need to search an hour through all the submenus and options…
