Hi I’m on PC, just would like to know how to take pictures?
I think I read something about using Xbox game bar, is that what I need to do or is there a simply method without the need to use tools like the game bar.
Also if there is a straight forward method, where do the pictures save to.

If you have the nVidea app…Alt Z will give a list of options. Alt F1 will take a screenshot..
You can use the MSFS 2024 photo mode (shift+v) to use a dedicated camera to do so, however the files are stored in your AppData folder of MSFS 20204. I don’t have the exact location on hand.
Another way without additional tools is the combination 
+ shift + s. This will bring up the windows snipping tool, in default mode using a rectangle selector.
The selected area will be copied to your clipboard, or you can save it from within the snippet tool.
Thanks will try these things next time, I do have the nvidia app, do I need to enable anything in the nvidia app to be able to take screenshots?

That’s what I use. I like it because it’s an easy way to specify the area I want to capture.
I paste into MS-Paint, then save it to a folder called ‘MSFS Pictures’. If I want to adjust the image I’ll open it in Photoshop and save a copy.
One thing to keep in mind: I haven’t found a way take a screenshot in HDR mode and easily transform it into a good looking JPG or PNG. So I make sure I turn HDR off before grabbing a screenshot.
do any of those methods work in VR or will you get that stupid split screen view?
Most likely the ingame photo mode will work (shift + v).
Easier than all that… Press PRINT/SCREEN on the keyboard, a dialog will appear and you can save the capture wherever you want… Happy flying.
My Alt F1 stopped working? Any ideas?
