I wonder if I’m able to uninstall “completely” any world update (USA - UK or similar) ?
I gave a try for UK World Update but then not liked the performance and decided to delete it. From content manager I deleted all UK World Update related items but they still stay on the content manager’s “not installed” (available’ish) list.
Whenever I get back to content manager they are being listed and always waiting to be installed again It is a bit annoying. I know it doesn’t affect my packages unless I install again but I would be so happy if I learn how to clear them completely.
No, you cannot roll back on any updates.
The only thing you can do is delete content from the content manager. They will remain as optional updates however and it won’t remove any other changes that have been added to the sim.
Thanks for the answer. I think it is a bit weird that we don’t have complete control over these kind of installation and uninstallations. We should be able to remove this from the sim completely.
Anyway we have quite a long list of Asobo’s weirdness so don’t want to stick another on.
Just the way it is, it’s the same for many games with integral core online integration - everyone must be on the same version or it doesn’t work. This will never change for FS2020.
I was just referring to World Updates’ additional part as France or UK let’s say. Where we download from marketplace. Not the core part of World Updates which changes version of the game. I got your point btw.
Except from the issue that your add-ons in the Community folder are showing in the content manager that they are not installed (but in fact they are installed), the current version of the sim with all the World updates and fixes, runs like a dream.
Is there any way then of completely erasing/removing the premium version and then re-installing it from STEAM? Please help. All of my addon scenery has stopped working and I don’t even know if what I am looking at with France update is just the way it is or completely screwed up. There is no Skydome no CN Tower in Toronto
