Brief description of the issue:
When exiting VR back to the desktop mode sim freezes and shuts down and goes back to windows 10 desltop and sim must be restarted

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
hit CTRL & Tab to exit VR while in VR sim crashes and exits and upon reboot offers safe mode.
PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
13900K 128GB Ram RX7900XT version 23.2.2 Windows 10

Nothing further, same problem just started, no real changes of substance to mention.

Same problem, except computer freezes totally. Requires reboot.

if I request an exit to desktop while in vr, the sim hangs. VR stops working but an on-screen (monitor) ‘binocular’ view remains. It looks as if maybe a menu has been displayed (confirming shutdown? Impossible to read due to the binocular distortion on screen).
MSFS is frozen at this point so it’s not possible to try key presses to confirm/deny the menu (if that’s what it is).
MSFS can then only be completely closed via the Steam ‘stop’ button or by killing the process in task manager.
