Trying to get the headset setup so my PC recognizes the headset. The cable end that plugs into the headset does not want to seat. Has anybody else had this issue? I don’t want to force it too much as I’m afraid I will break it.
It’s hard to tell how hard you’re pushing. I had the same worry, too. My computer wouldn’t show the G2 connected. I checked all the connections and by the process of elimination arrived at the conclusion that the plug of the cable into the headset wasn’t far enough in. So I pushed gently but with increasing firmness and then, POP!, the plug seated itself. When you have it properly seated, it will look like this:
