HPG H145 + Action Pack HEMS response to RTA in the Scottish Highlands

Great video. Can’t wait for the H-160 action pack.

The Scottish charity air ambulance livery for the H-145 is worth getting for Scottish HEMS missions. Its what we see flying around here a lot.

I’ve had the HPG145 heli since it was in pre-release, but somehow got sidetracked from it after a while. Recently got back into helis after the Cowansim marketplace sale at Christmas, and I am thoughouly enjoying flying them. Most recent pickup was the CH47D which is excellent (and comes with missions too). Well worth a look.
But I caught your video (from a web search) this morning and ended up watching the whole thing, and got inspired to finally buy the action pack for the 145.
Great video, and I have to say, stunning scenery, and all quite local & familiar for me too living here in central west Scotland.

I’m just about there myself. I’ve had the H145 for well over a year but only started using it regularly recently. It’s the Rolls Royce of helis for me so it’s probably time for the Action Pack, too.

What I didn’t realise is that you can actually do some A to B transport passenger missions without the action pack. Go give it a try it’s there. The absolute selling point for revisiting the 145 for me is (and you can do this right now with no action pack), it picks up heliports on the EFB missions map that are not designated as heliports in the sim yet. So think all hospitals and other places that have helipads. Now when you get there your helipad might be no more than paint on grass, but they are there, discoverable and flyable as transport missions right now even without the action pack which adds the HEMS/firefighting and military missions.

I was flying the Shirke 350 and was having difficulty finding a heliport at a local(ish) hospital. No additional scenery (from flightsim .to) was available either, but I suspect the HPG145 map will show it no problem, as it’s totally separate from the sim designated heliports.
