HUD animation performance improvements

Would love to see the Product team put some priority into improving the overall HUD systems and graphics in MSFS. Overall graphic and FPS performance of the game itself is fantastic. However, the HUD animation is somewhat choppy, and makes it difficult when relying on the FPM when flying lighter aircraft such as military fighter jets, etc where you need tight precision of the FPM when landing, etc. Currently it’s soo choppy that you end up over (or under) correcting when using the FPM, because it jumps around, vs smooth fluid movement. It would be great to see the HUD animation smooth and fluid for a more RL experience.

Btw, I should mention this request is for Xbox platform. I’ve noticed on videos made in the PC platform, HUD animation is fairly smooth. But Xbox, even Xbox X, overall FPS performance is great (especially ay 120Hz with VRR 4k HDR 10), but HUD animation is still choppy, which is strange considering everything else is very smooth and fluid.

I eventually plan to move to PC platform, but would stilk love to see this improved for Xbox.

Revising (and simplifying) this submission based on some more research I’ve done:

  • Please increase the “glass cockpit refresh rate” to medium or high on Xbox default graphics settings. Or allow it to be user definable. Xbox X seems to be more than capable to handle the current (non adjustable) graphic settings.
