Since the latest update my Elgato no longer works with FS2020. Suggestions or ways to get it working again? I have the latest update for the firmware and the app. Thanks in advance
Elgato what? Streamdeck? Videocapture card? Microphone? …
I can confirm that the Streamdeck is working perfectly with the sim

Yup, assuming it is the Streamdeck, it’s working fine for me.
I have found that if the Streamdeck software is started (even in Admin mode) before MSFS is started, the Stream Deck no works correctly , as it use to before SU7. (or maybe even SU6 )
Now I have to restart stream deck, once MSFS is up & running, for it to respond.
Not the end of the world, (or a total break of Illusion ! ), but an inconvenient pain in the tush.
Since I believe I started to have this issue prior to SU7, maybe it was a Stream Deck Software update that started to cause this a month or so ago ?
This shouldn’t be required. Have you tried a reinstall? Might be worth it. Mine is always running and I’ve never had to restart it to get it to be recognised in sim. Are you using a plugin to work with MSFS or is it just as a keypad using default Elgato hot keys ?
I am using it with the MSFS plugin by Hy.
I will try re-installing both – Hy’s software & the Steam Deck software/firmware.
Knowing someone else does not have the same issue as me, makes me now believe I should not have my issues.
Thanks for the encouraging Feedback
Yes, I use the Flight Tracker plug in too and it’s working flawlessly. I initially had it from the Streamdeck store but the version there was always a couple on months behind the Flightsim.to updates so I pulled it down from there instead and installed so it is current. May be worth doing that if you haven’t already.
I am using the same Plugin (Version 0.38) and have no issues at all, works as ever. The actual stream deck software is on latest (due to autoupdates).
I am honest, I hadn’t tried the latest version (0.39) of the plugin, maybe this is causing issues
Yes perhaps reinstalling will help.
Mine works as usual with no probs. It starts with Windows and I use differents plugins, including Flight Tracker.
Re-starting the Stream deck software when I want to “try” to run MSFS, is the least of my problems with MSFS ..
Time to take a break and let the SU7 dust settle.
Updated to the latest Stream Deck software – seem to run fine now without restarting after MSFS …
MSFS and its associated planes, scenery & software seem to be for every needing updates, to work with each other …
Mine is working well. Occasionally, the second Streamdeck doesn’t initialise, but I think this to be PC related, not software. A quick replug into the USB port and all is well. Very well in fact. I wouldn’t fly without it.
I uninstalled my Steamdeck software and reinstalled it and it is working great. Thanks for the suggestions…GREAT FORUM AND GREAT PEOPLE!!!
