I tried that and it STILL does not work! 
Do you have a way to screen record, or record a video from your phone? It would help to watch in real time what you are doing to make sure we aren’t skipping a step or somehow talking past each other. So record the world map showing your flight conditions with traffic set to something other than live, then see if you can adjust the weather there. Keep the recording going as you load in the flight and then bring up the weather settings to see if you can change anything there.

Also try turning Multiplayer off from the General Options.

An old issue I thought had been corrected, was that if you had left a multiplayer session without properly logging off, you would not be able to change the weather settings.
Could this have been the case in your scenario?

I have never played together with someone in a group flight. Could have left a session with normal multiplayer setting for shire. Don’t know for sure.

Oh yes! It’s grey because you told me to turn off Multiplayer so i did:)
I think at this point, it may be a good idea to “Submit a Request” to Zendesk from the “Support” tab at the top of any forum page. They may be able to offer more assistance.
