Hi Guys, I’m a bit new to this Forum thingy but I need your help! I can’t seem to change it! It’s annoying me for the past 6 months now! Ever since the 40th Anniversary came out it wouldn’t work:(

First, in General Options, Data, make sure that “OnLine Functionality” and “Live Weather” are turned on.
Then, in the World Map Planner, top right, in Flight Conditions, ensure that “Weather and Time” are set to your preference.
To change while in the sim, from the Handlebar Menu, use the Cloud (Weather) icon.

If you have liveplayers selected you cannot change the weather, make sure you set that setting to something else, e.g. all players.

I did that and even though i turn live weather on, it still doesnt work
I’m not on Xbox Live! i use the AI
I have the same problem and tried everything. Seems to be a bug only a few peoples get.

Appreciate you may not be on Xbox live, but have you checked the setting I mention. I would suspect the sim/setting does not check if you have capability to use Xbox live. With that setting on “live players” the sim is locked to using live weather and live weather only.

Exactly what I see on Xbox. I’m not in a group and can’t change weather.
You are in a multiplayer setting.
That is probably limiting your availablities.
Try turning Multiplayer off.

Do you mean the AI?
Suggest you click arrow next to multiplayer to show OFF

It looks like it did and I see you’re now on the weather preset options, which can be changed at any time.
Under air traffic, that needs to be set to AI or Off (the options are slightly different if you are connected to Xbox Live, which may be some of the confusion). If set to live traffic, it shows only players playing in real time, which requires live weather. It does not show players using custom or preset weather. Once you select AI or Off for air traffic, you should be able to switch the weather setting to a preset or custom.
