Why can’t I install Australia map and its greyed out? It’s not just this but the rest of add on i cannot do purchase. Am i missing something?
I’ve reinstall the game twice and nothing work. I’m using steam for MS
Go to market place and select world updates
Click buy install
They are free, but not mandatory
Well, that’s the problem. When you go to the marketplace and select the Australia world update, both options to “Buy and Download” and “Get” are greyed out. I’ve been having the same issue as OP. The sim is updated to 1.22.2.0, all of my content in the content manager has been updated, but I’m unable to download the new content.
Also tried uninstalling/reinstalling and still getting the same issue.

I also had the same problem. This has happened 3 times so far with various different downloads/purchases.
I opened a ticket through zendesk and it was resolved within resolved within 24hrs. The Zendesk said it’s caused by a download getting ‘stuck’.
They advise when it happens, to logout of gamer tag (top right corner on Xbox, not sure about pc), quit sim, wait for at least a minute, and then reboot sim.
If still greyed out then report to Zendesk. This work around doesn’t seem to work for me as all 3 occasions I’ve had to contact them, however it has worked for other simmers, so maybe with a try before logging a ticket.
This issue of downloads getting ‘stuck’ really does need addressing by the MS/Asobo team, as it happens far too frequent.

Usually poor internet service including but not neccessarily the servers as around update time bottlenecks can appear anywhere in your particular country. Resetting your router often helps.
None of this worked and still greyed out
I’ve signed in and out of my gamer tag and still didn’t work. Is this problem only occur to steam users or have some affects from microsoft purchase purchase?
I sent a zendesk for a message for help. Lets see what can they do

Can happen to Xbox, steam or store.

Same problem here, not steam version… both buttons greyed out in EVERY product in marketplace
