I don't get it

I understand that something like this can sneak in unnoticed, so after the last update I didn’t think too much of it. But even now, after another major Sim Update, it’s still not fixed??

This must be staring the devs daily in the face, and nobody bothers? It’s not only looking quite bad for a professional product, but also would just take 5 minutes (at most) to fix…

Asobo, really?

I don’t get it…

You are using Xbox I assume?

Reset your keyboard profile to ‘default’ and it should show up again

Are you using a PC, I also have this hardly big concern to me, perhaps a little sloppy.
However, it has just occurred to me that it might be something as simple as the PC version of the sim does not have a default key bind for these two functions that appear to be zoom in/out of the world map. Perhaps finding these in controls and assigning them to keys will resolve this issue for you?

Not at my PC, but I think my keyboard is already set to default but I still see this minor issue, but I would assume assigning the, would also fix this.

Sometimes after an update these profiles can suddenly get mixed up for some reason. I never made another keyboard profile but I have 3, a ‘Default’, ‘default’ and ‘Default’

Nothing wrong with your system, don’t reinstall.
-Create a new custom keyboard from scratch or just use the default.
-Don’t try to copy your old or just rename it, that does not work…Tried both ways…

TIP:
Keep your old mapping, then make a new custom with a different name. Now toggle between the two so you can see which mappings you need to recreate the new one. Delete the old custom when your done.
Remember to click save before you toggle back to the old custom set, but it should prompt you if you forget.

-When they added new settings for controllers in update 5, some new menu mappings were created. Unfortunately, this one is not accessible in your keyboard bindings. Hard coded into the default xml file, but works fine if you create a new custom keyboard because that is based from the new default set.

No matter what you do, the default will always be there, so don’t worry about messing something up. You can not delete the default (unless you manually remove the system files related to this. Don’t do that
