Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
I just started career mode, completed 2 First flights, but on next mission in SKYB (Germania Airport) when I try to takeoff with DA 40, i get only 1400 rpm on full throttle, so is almost impossible to takeoff flight

Could it be possible that your aircraft needs an engine maintenance in career mode ?
I just tried to take off from SKYB in free flight with the DA40 and had no issue.
Okey, but I think problem is different, when I crash on the ground and then I am respwaned in the air sudenly i have good 2300 rpm, btw where can I do maintenace ?
before flight I see only in manage aircraft option manage fuel and plane showing accomplished flights 0,
Before takeoff is system complaing that takeoff was not anounced, could be issue this ? that is blocking speed ?
The issue is when you āSkip to Taxiā from outside the plane, whatever that script is doing is missing an action that occurs when you start with [Ctrl] - [E], and is also missing an action that is in the free flight startup script in an engines on/ready state.
I am guessing some part of mimicking the FADEC or prop speed logic relies on some setting that isnāt being switched.
Whatever occurs in the script when you āskip to take offā, or if you crash and āback-on-trackā must also set this same āinvisible controlā if that makes sense (which is why it comes right after those actions)?
Iād say the workaround for now is to use [Ctrl] - [E] to start up the engine (I donāt know if you can just do that without stopping the engine first, with [Ctrl] - [Shift] - [E]).
Using the template below will greatly help the team reproduce the issue and ease the process of fixing it. Before posting, search for an existing report. If you are not sure itās a bug, please first report in User Support Hub.

Iām not using a keyboard here as Iām on a ps5 . I also havenāt quite figured out the buttons for manual startup⦠but Iāll make that something to learn soon. Cheers
Donāt skip the chocks/pitot cover/etc removal, do this
Mission stages should then prompt you to enter the aircraft (donāt skip to taxi at this stage either) which you can do by clicking the door, or it should give you a button combo (probably one of the shoulder buttons held and a dpad direction).
Once in the cabin, you should be prompted to start the engine (and be told what the key combo is). It will be very similar to the āstop engineā key combo you use at the end of the mission.
Once you know the key combo you can skip next time and just use it. Itās useful to know if you ever accidentally shut down the plane as a quick way of recovering (itāll happen, I once accidentally hit the switch bound to āstop engineā on my HOTAS)
I solved this problem by turning engine off immediately before taxiing and then turn the engine on again. This solved problem. Also you can try with parking brake on, throttle to the max to see if you reach max rpm. If you have 2300 rpm then ok, else turn engine off and on and go.
What it is, is prop control is set to 0/100 when you start cold and dark. But there is (accurately) not actually a prop speed lever, and itās not bound to the input system.
When you skip to taxi, this prop setting remains at zero (thusly the prop speed is limited to 1400~) but it you start the engine with the control-E shortcut, it DOES change this prop setting to 100/100.
Donāt skip the chock blocks get in after doing the outside stuff. Star the plane after your people are in, manually with the check list. Will work fine⦠until you land and canāt stop, lol. I find this thing has bad brakes.
You will see the post above, that that is my precise suggestion!
It works doing it manually following the checklist? Iāve never tried that to be fair, only enough to confirm that the Skip to Taxi wasnāt doing what it needed to for the plane to take odd, and that Ctrl - E (or the back on track after crash script) was changing it.
If we start the plane and taxi normally, the engine does not exceed 1300 rpm with the throttle fully open and takeoff is impossible. But if we use the āskip to takeoffā shortcut, there itās good, we have all the power.
The DA40-TDI is perfectly suited for this mission and has ample power.
Fun is that thereās also the opposite problem!
If you fly back normally, thereās no issue. However, if you use the āskip to landā shortcut, the opposite occurs: you canāt reduce the throttle. Even with the lever at zero, the engine remains above 2000 RPM and landing is impossible.
Therefore, you must use the shortcuts at the start, but definitely not on the return!
+1 for NG and TDI variants in "career mode, no problems whatsoever in Free flight mode.
I generally pass the ground inspection phase and skip to taxi phase in Career.
Will try the suggestions but it does not change the fact that it should be working like the other planes (i.e C172 etc.) in the first placeā¦
