Hi there,
Lately I have been CTD. It just started to crash, it hasn’t done that before, that I can remember. I am worried that I won’t be able to update when it’s time next week I believe.
I just had my first CTD too which is strange!!! It may be a server issue on their behalf?!
Nothing has changed with regards to the sim - I would first check any addons you may have recently updated or placed in your community folder. The next culprit may be a Windows update, I know there was one yesterday however that hasn’t seemed to affect my particular system.
Ok! Maybe it’s the A320 FBW?! That’s the only update I have done in the past few weeks! I did 6 hours of flight yesterday with no problem.
Uninstall mods, turn off OCs, and share your system specs + game settings to make it easier for others to help you.
Hi guys, It happened when I was trying to fly the a320 and the typhoon or something like that. It happened twice yesterday.
Hi there, I have an HP Envy Laptop with Geforce RTX 2060 I7 I can’t remember the cpu. 2.6ghz I think it’s an i7 -1040 or something like that , No overclocking of the gpu…I’ll have to get back to you guys about the specs.Game settings are at default… Also I have an Samsung 970 Evo PLus 512GB M.2 SSD drive…I appreciated the help guys. Edit I forgot to put the type of drive.
Ram is 16 GB…what was I thinking…
Firstly it would be good to check event viewer and tell us the faulting module
If it’s COHERENTGTui.dll this is avoided by disabling the VFR map in the sim toolbar
Hi there, where in the event viewer do I look for the error…Do I do a search?
Are you folks aware of the simconnect CTD issue?
It affects a lot of users. Mine started a week or so ago, out of the blue.
Do a search in these forums for more info, there is a lot there on it, and what you can do to help prevent it.
If this is your issue, ASOBO is aware of the problem, and I read that the fix is probably coming with this next sim update.
Still CTD when I am not runnning any outside programs using Simconnect. I think mine has to do with the ATC. Everytime it starts to static and cut out is when it locks up and CTD. Anyone else with same problem?
Live AI traffic runs through simconnect.
And that is exactly what mine did.
i9 10850k, GTX1070, 32GB Ram, removed overclock, AI traffic off, no mods and still 5+ CTD over the last few days, all with this error:

Are you running any external apps with the sim such as Simbrief or Little Nav Map, etc?
Actually yes, need to try a flight without FSUIPC7 and PACX. Seems pointless if this fixes it though as I’m not going to want to fly without all the extras.
That’s your issue, they run through simconnect.
The more you put through it the more unstable it becomes.
Add this line to the “General” section of the FSUIPC7.ini file
I got this tip from their forum when I went there to research this.
ProvideAIData=No
That didn’t take long, removed FSUIPC/PACX and still CTD with this error:

When does the crash happen?
Usually within the first 10-20 minutes of starting a flight. Tried various different airports too. Sometimes I can get a flight in and sometimes I can’t.
