MSFS 2024. How can I turn off all the H markers pointing to buildings and other things.
All I want to show are the Airport markers. I’ve tried everything in flight interface and when I turn off airport markers, all markers go off. However, when I turn on just the Airport markers, I get dozens of H markers all over the topography.
What am I doing wrong?

Thank you. That link is obviously the way to disable the Heliport markers. I downloaded it and found that following the directions on finding the correct folders is more complicated for ME, and perhaps not someone else more talented in this regard. I cannot really figure out how to overwrite the lines it tells you to find.
This procedure is a little beyond my abilities to alter files in the program.
Thank you for responding.

See related wish: Option to disable Helipad markers in scenery / in flight
Did anyone answer your question yet?
You can`t turn off the Helipad markers in the world seperatly. However in free flight, in the map/flightplanning before you get on the plane, theres a separate option to turn them off while keeping all other markers.
I found that. I turn off helipads and heliports, but when I fly they are ALL there as if I did nothing. Is there a SAVE button? I don’t see one. I go back to that area where they have been unchecked, and they are all checked AGAIN. There must be a way to “lock them in” after they are unchecked.
SO…Is there a SAVE button that will allow me to turn off helipads and heliports?
I’d appreciate and answer if you have one.
Yes, that’s basically what I meant by my last post. You can turn off Helipads in flightplanning aka the world map, but not in flight.
Stefanotti,
I did that! I turned off Helipads and Heliports in MAP mode before flying. However, as soon as I started my flight, they all returned and never disappeared.
I was hoping there was a way to “lock them out” in the Map mode. There is no SAVE button.
Yes, thats unfortunatly right.
