Icing on windows not visible in VR

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

  • When flying in VR, no icing is showing on cockpit windows, even if they are fully covered in ice, when checkin in 2D. So the window icing effects are not working in VR.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

  • Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Fly in icing conditions with any plane in VR.

  2. No icing showing on cockpit windows when in VR. When you switch to 2D, windows could be fully frozen and you can’t see out from cockpit. Switch back to VR and no icing is visible.

  3. Repeat and feel miserable.

Dumb question, but have you tried setting the “Windshield effects” to High in the VR Graphics Tab?

I only ask cause I had the same issue but setting it to high made the ice visible.
