Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

Go to free flight
Start a flight at night
Take a look at the Garmin device. Even if you set the max brightness, it’s still very dim.
If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.
What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

Same issue with the Icon…screen was very dim and I couldn’t figure out how to fix that.

Same here, is it some kind of auto brightness feature as it’s readable in broad daylight but as it gets dark, the display gets dimmer and dimmer until black.
Such low hanging fruit, disappointed this wasn’t fixed in the patch that just dropped.

This seemed to be fixed in the most recent SU3 beta build (1.5.10.0) - display was plenty bright at night.
Latest version 1.5.27.0 still black……..
FIXED in version 1.6.11.0 SU4 beta.
