Hello, I would like to represent a few ideas to improve keyboard and mouse control.
First one is pretty simple, if the game only detects mouse and keyboard it should automatically put the plane on to the mouse (tho you could use the keyboard if you are into that more) since that is much better for flying. Now onto improving mouse control.
Currently from what I have seen is that the mouse works like a joystick which isn’t the best as mouse and joystick are completely different. My idea on how to improve is that instead of using mouse as a direct input device it should work more like guidance. What I mean by that is that the plane actually follows a point which is controlled by the mouse. Best known use of this system is by a game War Thunder. Now I know that this would eliminate full aircraft control since this is more arcadej but this would probably be better then current way. To add, even tho this system would control most of the aircraft there should still be an ability to have to control surfaces such as ailerons, rudder and elevator.
Final change would be to the current key input when it comes to aircraft control. Currently once an input is made there is no regen. What I mean by that, for example when I press a key for rudder in one direction the only way to return it to normal position is by pressing the key in the opposite direction. Other keyboard users will hopefully understand what I mean by that.
