I know a lot of us are frustrated and mad and hate the new bugs. But as some have already posted yesterday, please watch Asobo’s twitch stream yesterday.
They literally answer almost all the top wishlist and bugs page with specific answers.
Asobo is even going to move to a pre-release schedule and have some alpha/beta testers test before patches go out.
Asobo have always done a great job considering the situation with the pandemic. Yes there are bugs and people all want different things to change in the sim but all those different ‘wants’ are all directed at Asobo and they have to prioritize.
Unfortunately a lot of ‘demands’ from certain people are put in a way that really grinds my gears. Nothing wrong with constructive criticism but a lot of the whines are just too much to put up with.
All I can say is well done Asobo and Microsoft you are doing a bang up job.
Now how’s my complaint of no flushing toilets on the A320 coming along…?
Their commitment is clear and should be appreciated. There is nothing more rewarding for a developer than a good word of appreciation. Perhaps the August release was premature, but might have been a decision driven by politics.
Asking everyone to give them a chance and be nice. We will all be rewarded by the outcome. After all, we are all free to choose the sim we favour the most.
Yep, in the last few minutes, you can find it quite easily in the video. The draw distance issue isn’t intentional, and they’re planning to fix it in a future update. No plans at all to reduce the visual fidelity of MSFS.
Is it Just me or Sebastian Wloch the CEO of Asobo doesn’t really answer much of the questions ?? all his answers seem to be stupid and It just feels like he completely doesn’t really care !?
I am curious to see what you guys think
Talk is all they are good at. We want results but all we get is lip service. And it has been this way since the beginning. They don’t listen to anything we say other than to blow smoke rings up our backsides. I’m not an X-Plane fan by a longshot. But at least they listen to their customers.
I wouldn’t say that. I’ve never really seen X-Plane respond to user feedback. Look how much Austin’s personal “hate” of ortho has affected X-Plane in that there is no built in ortho, while most of the community wants it
This is what we have seen and heard since last July. Promises are great but deliveries are always better. It sounds great but where we are today there is a long road ahead and I agree, they need help for sure.
I might be wrong but X-Plane developers do have a blog where they are not only posting various progress reports but they are also directly answering a lot of questions:
It is a different medium than Twitch or some will certainly react to my post saying this doesn’t answer their questions, but it is a medium nonetheless and they are responding to user feedback.

I believe both are pretty much tired more than anything else. I can’t fathom what it has been since release triaging, prioritizing, implementing all the corrections while at the same time staying on track of developing the post-release features which were carefully planned years ago.
I once made the effort to read through all your posts after what nonsense you wrote here. You are also one of those trolls who only see everything negatively and pull down good-humored members with your negativity! It’s best to go back to the basement and play Xplane if you don’t like anything here!
That was a good watch. Thanks for pointing it out, I usually don’t watch these types of things but it has been an emotional launch of MSFS so this was pretty uplifting!
I did not think that people would start making excuses for the MSFS team as far as exhaustion or hard work especially since the people making them excuses have no direct idea how hard anybody is actually working. Nobody made anybody work on the MSFS team and nobody is stopping them from quitting.
I think of the current US President and his staff, some of whom are much older and work much harder for much longer.
Excuses
I will reduce my care a little more, since excuses abound.
