Ifr navigation - lesson 7 ifr test - plane off route

Hello,

When starting the ifr checkride, plane is almost 5nm off route and thanks to that, obtaining A grade is not possiblle. The first point is not achieveable.

I tried to reinstall the mission, but it does not solve the problem.

Hi @jazzmanPL3099
I just tried the flight and didn’t have any issues. For whatever reason, your GPS line is completely in the opposite direction from where I started. I didn’t do anything different, except my map is set to “North Up”. That shouldn’t make any difference, but it’s the only thing I see different from mine.
I can’t see your PFD, but just to double check, it should be reading “TUSUG to EGPB” with distance about 8.7 miles and bearing of 143 degrees (plus or minus a bit).
So it’s the GPS course that’s no displaying correctly, but I have no idea why it’s not, if your PFD is showing the correct information. The direct track on your MFD is matching what your GPS line is showing, so it’s like your starting position is way off for some reason, and since you don’t set that, I’m not sure why it’s wrong also.
I’ll look into it some more and see what I can find anything else.
Regards
P.S. I’ve gone back and started that lesson five more times and it’s always defaulting to the correct GPS location. Just wanted to confirm that I didn’t get a “one-time” correct flight. But it seems ok each time I start it. Sorry…
Also, I tried it with “track up” to see if that changed anything. No joy. It still showed the GPS track from where you start to the correct airport.

Hey,
Thanks for Your great help again
I found out what was wrong. I had my navigraph database active and by somehow it was conflicting with the flight. The route was shifted and the ac was setting up in a wrong position. I made a check flight a minute ago and it was smooth and nice.
Cheers
