ILS frequencies missing from VFR Map and ILS not working properly

Just to give you guys a little bit of context: I used to have a Navigraph subscription, but I decided to cancel it. In an attempt to restore the native navdata base, I deleted both the navigraph-navdata and navigraph-navdata-base folders from my Community folder.

Then I deleted the fs-base-nav folder so the sim can create a new one, and I also deleted all the files from the SceneryIndexes folder. The simulator recreates those files once you launch the sim again.

To make sure, I edited my content.xml file to look like this:

</Priorities>

The problem is that the ILS also doesn’t seem to be working properly with my aircraft. For example, with the PMDG 737, it captures the glideslope but never captures the localizer.

After doing all that, I restarted both the sim and my PC, but I still have no luck getting the ILS frequencies to show up on the VFR Map.

So, is this normal behavior for an ILS airport, or is there something wrong with my navdata? Is there anything else I need to do to properly restore the default navdata?

I’m not sure which map you’re using, but you wouldn’t use ILS frequencies for VFR flight. For example, ILS frequencies don’t appear on FAA VFR sectional charts (unless they serve an additional navigation function, like being necessary to identify a waypoint). So I’m not sure if you mean that you used to see the ILS frequencies on the VFR charts you’re using and now you don’t, but I wouldn’t expect them to be there.

You must uninstall the Navigraph data using their Hub app. Just deleting the folders from community will result in mostly missing navdata (except airport scenery). Once you do that, your data should return.

It’s not an VFR flight! Both airports of the images has ILS, but only one is showing the ILS frequencies.

This map is the native from MSFS, which you can access through the suspended menu during flight.

I did that, but both folders remained there.

You said you were looking on the VFR map. I don’t use the MSFS charts so I’m not sure how they work. But I wouldn’t expect the ILS frequencies on VFR charts is what I’m trying to say.
