Where can I find the ILS freqs that are used in MSFS 2020? They don’t seem to be using the current published frequencies.
If you’re not opposed to using external apps, please check out LittleNavmap.
It loads all nav and coms data from the MSFS database, and shows it on various maps.
I can do flight planning and a whole lot more as well.
I never had issues with incorrect frequencies other than assigned the frequency that belong to a different runway. But that happened months ago. I haven’t had the incorrect ILS frequency lately myself.
But when that happens, I usually just open up the real life charts for that runway, and that never goes wrong.
If you want to double check, you can open up the filter menu on the world map, and turn on NAVAIDS.
Zoom in on the runway and you’ll see the Localiser/DME icons at the end of some or all runways. Just click on them and you’ll see the frequency information on the right side of the screen.
Just note that the localiser icon is the one on the opposite end of the runway you’re approaching.
There’s nothing wrong with the ILS frequenceis that I’ve ever noticed. Can you give up specific examples?
I have had approach plate issues - rarely do ILS frequencies change however, which in particular do you have examples of?
Thanks folks. I’ve had issues with KSAN and KCRQ. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.
Also, if you’re using a Garmin equipped plane, you can enter the airport code in the appropriate MFD screen and scroll through the frequencies for that location.
Regards
I fly in and out of KSAN pretty much every day. I’ve never had issues with the ILS or LOC frequencies not working there. They match published charts.
ZBAA RW18L,SEEMS A WRONG ILS direction!
The poster probably didn’t realize that you can use the filters on the map before you fly. I had that issue before I posted and someone was nice enough to point that out as someone did here. The poster should also note that there is no way to get an ILS frequency in flight unless you use an external program.
This is a big flaw in this sim. At least in FSX/P3D you had the navigation map in flight with the ILS codes and the feather while you were flying. It also doesn’t help that the filters also reset on every flight.
Thanks
Use current charts orblook att the world map near the end ofbthe runway rhere ist a navigational point you can clicm to see rhe frequency. Be sure to not have thne filtered out.
