I mostly play in VR. The EFB isn’t usable in all aircraft but the 172 (that I’ve tried so far) so if there’s something there I can’t access it.
My issue is that there is no indication that anything speeds up other than your flight speed when you use it which is quite unlike 2020. The clocks don’t speed up - any of them. Not the transponder, not the dash clock, not the Hobbs meters.
Anyone else have this? Anyone else unable to tell the current Sim Rate speed? Since almost all aircraft have clocks, that’s how I was able to tell easily in 2020.

I really hope they (MS/Osobo) add an indicator in game to let us know where the Sim Rate is set. As a fellow VR player, it defeats the value of VR if I have to look at a second monitor to tell the current rate. But, there’s a mod out there that does this very thing (it announces the rate via voice, but doesn’t work on my headset). Search for “Sim Rate Bandit” and you’ll find it. I have it working on 2024, but have to peek at a second monitor to know where its set. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply! I found on one called Sim Rate Selector on flightsim.to that works pretty well. I don’t know if the last patch fixed it, but a significant problem is nothing seemed to speed up like it did in 2020. The clocks in the plane didn’t, etc.
I just stumbled on a better solution. Same website. Search for SIM RATE SELECTOR. This integrates with the ribbon and works in VR and is designed for 2024.
