Implement "Sync" or "Control Wheel Steering" Momentary Button Functionality (interacts with Autopilot)

From the Garmin G1000 NXi Pilot’s Guide:

CWS Button (Control Wheel Steering):
While pressed, allows manual control of the aircraft while the autopilot is engaged and synchronizes the flight director’s Command Bars with the current aircraft pitch (if not in Glideslope Mode) and roll (if in Roll Hold Mode).

Upon release of the CWS Button, the flight director may establish new reference points, depending on the current pitch and roll modes. CWS operation details are discussed in the flight director modes section. The CWS Button is located on the pilot’s control wheel.

Thank you for considering this request!!

Voted.

Would love to see this implemented as well. Many planes have this AP function, and now with the SWS Kodiak, would especially love to have this.

Everyone please vote so we can get this on their radar!

This applies to the Just Flight BAe 146 Sync function.

Right now, we have to toggle it on, make a change, then toggle it off. It is supposed to be a momentary function… push and hold, make adjustment (ie: to pitch), release.

Has anyone found a way to make this a momentary push and hold function? If not, this Wishlist item will allow us to use Sync the way it is intended.

All input welcome… please correct me if I have this wrong :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you.

This is implemented in the Sim now. This item should be closed.

Thank you!
