Importing FSX Flight Plans

Is there a way to import FSX FLT and PLN files. PLN files “seem” to import but FLT files appear to be ignored. I have a book, based on FSX, that teaches you the details of flight training using an included set of FLT and PLN files. I’d love to be able to use the defined flights that come with the book.

I think the .FLT files have an entirely different set of parameters in FS2020. Maybe someday somebody will create a conversion tool but I’m not holding my breath.
