In-game checklist - how to speed it up or turn off voice?

I’m running through the checklist and I’d like to just quickly click through each item (just like a real checklist - in GA we don’t call out every item by voice slowly and wait).

But each time I have to click once on the item, then click a second time on “tick item”, then wait for the voice to say the item (which blocks my mouse from selecting the next one), then wait for voice to finish before I can click the next item.

It doesn’t sound like much, but when you want to do a full cold startup it can take alot longer than it’s supposed to.

Using a paper checklist won’t work because I want to move to VR.

Is there a way to turn off the voice, or allow double clicking items to not have to click the item then go down to tick item button?
Do others just go through without “ticking”?

Go to the AI Control menu in the simulator and disable checklist assist (mine is on in the picture).

Thanks - it seemed to bug out at first and lock up the checklist.

But then I restarted the game it was solved! Checklist is fast now thanks!

I guess any changes to the AI assist need a restart to apply to the checklist properly, otherwise the checklist is using what was already loaded.
