I have a dual monitor setup. I was playing with a 4K + 1440p setup. Both monitors were 60Hz. I played the game on full screen on the 1440p monitor and used the 4k monitor for other apps.
I just replaced the 4k monitor with a WQHD panel running at 160 Hz and use the old 1440p for other apps. The 4k monitor is in another setup.
I now play fullscreen on the WQHD 160 Hz monitor. However, the in game VSYNC settings are using 60Hz for their calculation. If I set it to 33%, I lock at 20 fps. 50% gives me 30 fps.
Anyone know why it’s not basing my fps on the 160 Hz refresh rate?
I’ve confirmed in Windows monitor refresh rate settings that it is set to 160 Hz.
Other details:
1440p “Apps” monitor is connected to the motherboard iGPU HDMI port (i7-10700).
WQHD is connected to my AMD RX 6800XT via Display Port.
