I am building an App and I need to get the in-sim specs for all aircraft available in the different versions of the sim. I have Premium Deluxe, but is there some way to get the specs (Fuelburn, Cruise Speed, Max Altitude and Range) for the Aviator planes some other way than purchasing a sim upgrade? It’ll be a free app so I want to avoid spending money just to get some numbers.
Hi @GeirRosset ,
Thank you for your post! Your topic has been moved to a sub-category of the User Support Hub
The General Discussion category is meant for discussions that fall outside of our other sub-categories.
If you would like other users to help you with an issue you are experiencing in the sim, consider these User Support Hub categories for your future post:

User Support Hub > ATC, Traffic & NAVAIDs
User Support Hub > Crashes (CTDs)

I wouldn’t trust the numbers stated in the config files either way to be honest. Quite a few of the basics are wrong on several aircraft from what I can see.
How accurate do you need to be for the purposes of your app? Maybe you could simply take the values from the real world aircraft (from Wikipedia or whatever) as a starting point?
I could, but I use the data for in sim route generation, so even if the in sim values are not correct, they are “correct” for those aircraft in the sim (or?). I was hoping there was a list somewhere so I could get out of manually researching 30+ aircraft.
Sadly I think not. Even something as simple as the speed, as in what is written on the Hangar / Aircraft Selection screen, is something manually typed in by the developer (which is often forgotten / wrong) whereas the ACTUAL speed the aircraft can do in flight is derived from other factors, not a ‘target cruise speed’ value (obviously I don’t need to spell it out, but the physics, drag, power etc etc that define the speed you can actually do). For Fuel Burn you will have the same problem as this is calculated from various places, not a set number even though there IS a number, but how the system for SPECIFIC aircraft interprets this to an actual ‘time it lasts’ is not consistent, and all this of course ties in to Range. I think it is going to be the same for Max Altitude. There is NO real max, it’s defined by the other parameters (when you run out of lift etc) so there is no ‘number’ you can read cleanly.
I might be wrong - let’s hope someone else chimes in to give another perspective on this before you take my word for it ![]()
