In SU 5 1.7.16, ATC functions occasionally hang for duration of flight

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

ATC functions hang / stop responding while responding to ATC prompts. Response options are no longer “highlighted” and remain in disabled highlighting for duration of flight.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Intermittently. On two occassions, it occurred while responding to IFR clearance prompt.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Free flight with IFR Simbrief flight plan.

  2. Load plan and proceed with standard process of first obtaining ATIS

  3. Request IFR clearance.

  4. Reply with option to read back clearance.
