In VR, mouse pointer looses focus and becomes unusable

Had a great first flight in the new sim today. One observation:

Repeatedly, the 3D mouse pointer in VR lost focus. It did not interact with the controls anymore, and whenever it was at dashboard distance, I actually saw 2 cursors, about 3 cm apart from each other.

Leaving VR and getting back into VR solved the problem, but later it happened again.
Any ideas what causes this, and is there a remedy?

Yep, same here

Im using a Quest 3 and to solve this issue I pick up one of the VR hand controllers, hold it towards the cockpit instruments (highlight a button) then put the controller back down. The mouse usually starts behaving after that.

Interesting workaround.
Unfortunately, I do not have VR controllers…

Same issue in the Q3 - ill try the controller trick to see if that helps. Edit: Controller trick didn’t help.

I experienced this too now and my guess is that it is aircraft related as i didn´t had this problem (beside the dozens of other problems) in the first days with FS24 while only testing with the DeHaviland Beaver. Today i tried the Pilatus PC 6 and it was a complete unusable mess.
i am able to get back the control of the mouse for some seconds by turning on the 2D monitor or wildly ALT-Tabbing.
