Inc/Dec Altimeter Keybindings not Working in Stock Aircraft w/G1000 & Analog Standby Altimeter

Brief description of the issue:

”Increase Altimeter” and “Decrease Altimeter” keybindings do not adjust the altimeter of the G1000 NXi in any of the stock G1000-equipped aircraft that have an analog standby altimeter. The keybindings are only adjusting the standby altimeter.

Aircraft affected:

  • Beechcraft Baron
  • Beechcraft Bonanza
  • Cirrus SR22
  • Cessna 172 G1000
  • Cessna 208 B
  • Diamond DA40NG
  • Pilatus PC-6 G950

Interestingly, this issue does not affect stock G1000-equipped aircraft with a digital standby instrument, such as the DA62 or 3rd party such as the Kodiak.

Load C&D in any of the aforementioned aircraft. Power up aircraft & avionics. Utilize the “Increase Altimeter” or “Decrease Altimeter” keybindings. Observe the standby altimeter is adjusted, but not the G1000’s altimeter.

Yest, not possible to control G1000 altimeter with key assignation like it used to be with Kolsmann inc and dec ! How to control it ?
