Wow not many of those E4B’s so you belonged to a very small group. I flew on CH-53’s and CH-46’s while in the Corps. Sort of an air taxi for ground pounders. I grew up around GA aircraft mostly a Piper Cherokee 6 and a 235 but took my first lesson in a Cessna150. I real world fly out of Mt. Comfort Airport in an Evektor Harmony. I just retired last month and I’m looking to build a YouTube channel with my spare time. No content on it yet but I just got it started last week. Still working out the kinks in recording flights to post on YT. I will be checking out your YT posts. I use the HP reverb G2 VR along with the Honeycomb bravo throttle, TM airbus stick and TM rudder peddles. i7 12700KF and RTX 3080 with a Next Level Racing “SimPit” chair. I’ve been an AvGeek since the mid 80’s, but paused for about 20 years until MSFS 2020 came out which also got me back into real world flying.

It was a very small group (NEACP team). After doing that, I did not want to go back to regular Air Force duty LOL! I just upgraded my PC to more power. I have eliminated nearly all of my graphics issues. I really enjoy posting 4k flights (that look real) on YT. I credit two of the E-4B pilots for my AVGeek obsession. Got to fly the jump seat on many flights. I was hooked!

I’m living near KBMG now. I grew up living on the airport at KOVO, got my ticket in 1979. Happy to be flying again!

Welcome to the fun!

Hi Bubba2455! Welcome to the group.

I have been on the hunt for a STOL aircraft. After a trying the Aviat Husky, the Zenith among others I have settled on the NX Cub. It is a nose wheel which for me settles buried nose issues with the Cub. It settles in, trims out nicely and has the power (210 hp) when you need it. Now I am off to discover the back country in Idaho and Montana. I grew up going to KCFJ with my dad as he took lessons and then owned a Cherokee 235. I took my first flight lesson at KSNC in Chester CT in 73. I fly out of KMQJ now.
