Inibuilds A320neo v2 instrument tooltips - many are backwards

Brief description of the issue:

Many of the Instrument tooltips show the wrong info. The “Info” part of the instrument tooltip shows the current value of any insturment. Eg, if Auto-Pilot is on, the tooltip will say “ON”. But in the A320neo, it often shows the opposite setting, eg “OFF”. In some cases, the tooltip for one button shows info for a different button. See below

Console / Floor Light Bright reads OFF, OFF reads Bright (Dim is correctly Dim)

Seatbelts ON reads as OFF, OFF reads as ON

TCAS Mode STBY reads… THRT from different button

TCAS 1 reads as 2, 2 as 1

With instrument tooltips enabled, hover pointer over instruments:

  • Auto-Pilot, when ON, reads as OFF
  • Auto-Pilot, when OFF, reads as ON
  • ISIS Baro, when Manual reads as Standard
  • ISIS Baro, when Standard reads as Manual
  • Console Light, Bright reads OFF
  • Console Light, OFF reads Bright
  • Seatbelts OFF reads ON
  • Seatbelts ON reads OFF
  • TCAS 1 reads 2
  • TCAS 2 reads 1
  • TCAS Mode STBY reads … THRT (from different knob)
  • TCAS Mode AUTO reads … ALL (from different knob)

Inibuilds A320 NEO V2 in SU15 Beta 1.37.11.0

Brief description of the issue:

Tooltips for Seatbelts Sign are reversed

Seatbelt Sign switch is in the OFF position but tooltip says ON

Seatbelt Sign switch is in the ON position but tooltip says OFF

This is the No Smoking Sign switch in the ON position and tooltip correctly says ON

Both switches operate in the same sense.

Hover over Seatbelts Sign in the ON or OFF position with tooltips enabled and observe the indication.

I agree with all these examples. It seems shoddy to me to mislabel the on-screen tips, but anywho…

Another error which I don’t see logged here relates to the autopilot VS mode. Pushing the selector levels off the aircraft but the on-screen tip says that this will engage ‘Managed’ mode. The function works as it should, but the inaccurate label induces doubt.

I guess I’ll have to fill out a form…

Actually, I despite extensive searching, I can’t see any “logged” bugs on this forum on the A320neo v2. Seems rather odd, given the numbers of posts reporting issues with this aircraft.

I believe the developers do collect the bugs and add them to their long to-do list. But it is a stark contrast to the release of the Inibuilds A310 - they were actively answering questions and acknowledging issues in the forum. But, that might take a lot of time and energy that is better spent on development. Just a guess.
