Inibuilds a321 wing rocking

When flying today on the inibuilds a321 I’ve had heavy wing rocking with the autopilot off. On the F/CTL tab I saw big aileron inputs, varying from full right aileron to full left aileron. Turning AP on solves the issue, in contrary to many similar problems. Turning ELAC 1 off also solves my issue, does anyone have an explanation for this?

it is also not due to the weather, as i’ve deleted all wind layers

Hi!
Yes I reported this issue but it doesn’t seem to have a lot of traction.

I’m making a flight right now.
I did a few tests yesterday also to check the white PFDs and I got the impression the issue was still there but not that pronounced. And it seemed worse with a custom livery.
Now I’m flying with a default Easy livery and it’s still bad.
I didn’t try to get rid of all the weather. That was a good idea.
Maybe it gets worse the lower the FPS since now I have to use high texture to workaround the white screens.

Glad I’m not the only one having this issue, might be a bug then. I have found a temporary work-around, turn ELAC1 off on the overhead panel and it should stop. The aircraft will switch over to ELAC2 as back-up and should only slightly affect your flights. I’ll make a post on the inibuilds forum, they seem to explain more than Asobo atm

I have the same problem, the plane is banking from left to right in free flight, with AP off.

I reported it on VATSIM as wind shear twice now…this really needs to be sorted out with urgency as it’s quite dangerous. A gust of wind with this harsh winter and we have serious problems!

Hopefully this can be sorted ASAP

I have this as well. Really weird.

Have voted in the big report thread.

Tried with ELAC1 off. Made no difference to stopping it and made it worse for me. This being the wing rock.

Someone else suggested turning SEC 1 off, maybe that works for you?

I also tried to fly today… I had the same issue. Tried to switch of the ELAC1 or SEC , but did not change anything. I even tried to turning the turbulence settings to low.. even then without any success..

Until this is not solved, for me unflyable…
frustrating, when the only really working bus without annoying bugs is the Fenix…

Yesterday after the hot fix I was curious to check if they fixed the issue without adding it to the release notes.
I did a full flight and the issue was not there.
Didn’t notice any wing rocking, checked the F/CTL and there was no input besides the ones I did. Plane was perfectly under control at takeoff and landing with AP off.
I did not switch off the ELAC or the SEC.
I will test this again soon, but I assume they fixed the problem even tough I have my doubts.~

Follow up. The issue is still there. It’s not fixed.
Turning off ELAC1 and/or SEC1 doesn’t fix it for me.

Also have this problem! Quite frustrating.

I am experiencing this issue as well. It has kept me from flying the A321LR. Also sometimes when landing it keeps calling out “Retard Retard” even though I fully retarded my thrust levers.

There is a temporary workaround for this issue. Set Elac1 to OFF after takeoff.
Set it back to ON just before turning final.

I believe I have solved this for my hardware. I have the Virpil Constellation Alpha, and in Axis Sensitivity Curves, it was set to “Symmetrical”. I set it to “Normal”, and no more rocking. I have no idea why this works, but I hope this helps.

Sorry, this fix lasted a whole flight and a half before the issue returned.

Good morning everyone, I solved this problem on the a321LR of IniBuilds by deleting all the keyboard commands that concerned the control surfaces, in the settings/controls/flight controls surfaces, after which I turned off the simulator, I deleted the file (microsoft-a321) located in: (C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\SimObjects\Airplanes) restarted the simulator, for me the problem was solved like this. For those like me who have pre-set views such as the overhead panel or the typical window view, you can reset them manually or try to save a backup of the file (cameras.CFG) located in: (C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\SimObjects\Airplanes\microsoft-a321\presets\inibuilds\a21n\config) and then paste it in the same place at the 2nd restart of the simulator.
Good Flights :slightly_smiling_face:

good morning everyone, Update: I apologize to everyone, I think I celebrated too early, unfortunately I found that although it works, once the simulator is turned off and on again the problem inevitably returns, let’s hope for a solution in sim update 2

Same issue here. Still present on SIM update 2. I’ve spent the best part of three hours (on my day off) trying to get this sorted. I swear to God I spend more time configuring things than I do actually flying. Please sort this out Inibuilds
