1. Do a normal cold&dark start up
2. Don’t switch the fuel pumps on
3. Start the engines
4. Engine will startup and no message on ECAM

This is not a bug. Jet engines can start up without the electrical fuel pumps running. The fuel will be fed by gravity and the mechanical fuel pumps. Remains only the question if the ECAM should show a message.

I once forgot the fuel pumps in the A321 and got the ECAM messages during takeoff.

Engines which are under wings can function without pumps.
