Running as Admin does not help this time. Worked fine earlier today.

- Ran MSFS as Admin
…
Executed a Power Off Shut down once again and attempted to run MSFS. NO JOY !
…
Searching of other options before resorting to recovering the MSFS Files from my backup that was created shortly after testing with SU11 Public Version.
After doing all of the above and still not able to run MSFS, I ran ChkDsk against my m.2 SSD.
I ran Chkdsk c: /f and VIOLA, MSFS2020 runs once again without asking for the Game discs.
Imagine that, I suppose something went awry with the file rights authentications… Who knows for sure.
In any case, the Chkdsk function fixed the problem.
I’d suspect it had more to do with server issues than anything local on your machine. After you finished running your chkdsk, the authentication servers just happened to be responding again.
Hello,
I’m glad it’s working again, one way or the other.
