I have been doing some cleanup and see that:

Runs 164GB.
I guess this is so large because I install most packages rather than stream them, thinking might run better.
Observations/suggestions?
I check my disk use with a program called SpaceSniffer that sniffs out larges files and folders.
yes, it’s bigger because you installed locally. Installing locally doesn’t really have any benefits though (unless you have very limited/slow internet). If you want some more stuff locally, just increase the size of the rolling cache a bit.
Locally installing stuff will only slow down the sim startup, and make updating more of a pain.
Mine is 165GB, so I do think this is normal if you have locally installed addons (I rarely buy from the Marketplace, so most of mine are local.) Of the 165GB, 139.4GB is the Community folder which is addons. Only 9.2GB is StreamedPackages, and 16GB is the Rolling Cache. I use WizTree and it does a great job of showing you exactly what is taking up space with a visual breakdown you can drill down into.
I use MSFS Addons Linker so another 380GB lives outside of the sim folder and I probably have at least 200GB of that enabled, so I’m loading in ~365GB of addons and my load times aren’t bad at all, but YMMV.
