Installing AIG into MSFS 2020

Is this the right forum for this subject? If not, would a moderator move it to the proper spot? Thanks!

I’m am at my wits end to try and install AIG. Is there an up to date installation instruction? The pics in the manual that comes in the AIG_AIManager1.2.zip don’t show the same interface that I get when launching AIG Manager, so I’m hesitant to proceed if I screw something up.

I would ask on the AIG forum, but I’m still waiting to hear their approval of my account?

I’ve found a video tutorial for installing AIG into MSFS 2024, but that seems it’s for a beta AIG 1.3.0.8 that you must download from Github.

So my main question is, I guess, can someone point me to an installation tutorial that is up to date or give me some advice for installing AIG into MSFS 2020.

I started installing AIG a few weeks ago, so I don’t know if it’s partially in my system or not. I’m scared that this might create an issue as well. Not sure.

Thanks for your offer of help. I’ll try again tomorrow to install it when I have a better internet connection. I’ll note down any problems then, and I’ll try to be methodical about it.

Sounds good, as it happens I’m in the process of reinstalling into msfs24 myself at the moment.

If you manage to get it to work just be prepared for a long time installing it, I have 1GB connection and it’s still taking most of the day.
