Instant CTD when entering control settings with 8 or more joysticks/controllers connected. Reported since January and still no fix!

What type of controller you have attached makes no difference. I cant play MSFS2020 as long as this bug is here. Its been reported numerous times. I have racing/flight cockpit and its impossible for me to unplug over half my USB every time i wish to change a controller setting in MSFS

FS2020 instant CTD when entering control settings menu with more than 8 controllers connected to usb

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Game crashes abruptly and leaves no warning/error message.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
8 USB controllers is fine, can configure controls. Any more is a instant CTD

wuth an usb hud its easy. just throw some switches.

While i do appreciate your attempt to help… Let me just install an on off switch on each of my 8, 7 port usb hubs. Mark each one with what controllers is connected. Step out of the pit to look which one it is under the covers Stop and start MSFS to reconnect. And then do this each time i wish to change one button?

Or Asobo could just fix it. I think they have the tech in 2021
