According to this article the new drivers should bring quite an uplift in some games, not sure whether it applies to MSFS, and to what extent:

From i5-13600K to i7-14700K, no difference in FS2020 as being noticed by starting FS2020, loading a flight and flying.
FPS is the same.

If you are having issues with text corruption in MSFS 2024 as I reported here, it should fix that, based on my testing.
However, it appears not to have resolved the HDR bug that I reported, though I need to test more to confirm this.

Agreed. I can’t see the B580 being of much use for either 2020 or 2024 from what is mentioned in that article.

No doubt for some games. The 12 GB worries me. MSFS really likes VRAM, which is why I’m hoping there will be 24 GB cards.
So far, my 16G Arc is doing pretty well on 2024. Though I’ve had to scale back from all-Ultra, flying along the Thames & over the City of London was real smooth:

The ARC A770 LE 16 GB card was and is so great.
Who cares about old games.
INTEL was just ignorant about not promoting this card to the public and expecially the Flight Simulator community.
You would think that they have more knowledge.

good evening, I saw some reviews of the A770 and the prices are very affordable. the PC has a Z490 UD I7 10700kF motherboard 32 GB RAM GPU RX 5700XT PSU 750w. Do you think I can get a performance boost at 1440p? is it compatible with my PC? MSFS 2020
You need a platform that supports Resizable BAR to use an A770 effectively.
If so there should be a switch to manage Resizable BAR or Rebar in the bios.
For the Gigabyte Z490 UD, it requires bios version F6c or later, so if your bios is updated you should be fine in terms of compatibility.
I would think A770 would bring quite a boost at 1440p compared to your current GPU, especially with FS2024.
However, a new line of Intel GPUs is about to hit the market.
It could be worthwhile to see what they have up their sleeve before pulling the trigger, it’s just 10 days away.
the BIOS version is either F23 or F22. I hope the prices are competitive with the new Intel GPUs, although I would like to have nice graphics without compromises in the simulator settings that I have not found yet…
The B580 & B570 are lower tier GPUs than the A770 16 GB.
are you telling me to buy it? or wait for the new intel gpu?
