Ipad Moving Map?

Does anyone here know of a moving map program that will somehow interface with MS2020 and an iPad? Thanks!

LittleNavMap has a component that will allow you to point the browser on your iPad at your MSFS computer and see the map on the iPad.

igMaps HD shows charts for good part of the world

fsmaptool is a stand alone IOS app. That will allow you to add waypoints on the app. This also has a teleport option for moving your plane.

If you use space desk you can use
FS2020BMAP Version 1.2 This will follow way points that are set up in the game. Space desk is a tool that will allow you to extend the desktop over wifi.

Both use Bing map interface.

You can also connect an iPad via Splashtop Wired XDisplay (freeware) and use an addon map activated over the toolbar like this one:

Has the advantage that your PC will treat the ipad like an additional monitor. So you can drag any window you like over to it and control everything with your mouse

I have Foreflight. But it’s not cheap.

I use Navigraph and you can also install it on Ipad, Android, Etc… and have your moving map there as well.

Anything that works on PC if you use Spacedesk, Duet etc

LittleNavMap has a built-in webserver that will display the map, flight plan, progress, and airport info tabs from the full client on any device. It’s read-only, but for most purposes that’s more than sufficient.

I highly recommend the MSFS Mobile Companion App. Not only does it provide a moving map display on an iPad but on any device or computer having a web browser. The Map feature not only follows your aircraft, it can import your flight plan so you can track easily if you are on course. The Map feature has several different overlays. my favorite it the Topo map useful while mountain flying. The app has many other features such as the ability to set and change Nav and Comm frequencies. There is an Autopilot feature that sets or changes autopilot settings. The AP page can be customized for many popular stock, freeware, and payware aircraft. I use it all the time when flying the DC-6. There are many other features available in the app like changing or resetting the sim rate. Do you want to know how good your last landing was? It displays your last three landings showing FPM and G-force at touchdown. There are other features too numerous to mention. The developer is very responsive to any issues. Finally, it runs outside of MSFS (sorry Xbox pilots) although it is installed on the same computer as MSFS, nothing is installed on any IOS or Android device.

Thanks, I’m going to check out Remote Flight as well. Looks pretty good.

I purchased their autopilot/radio panel this afternoon. A bit squiggly to get connected, but once figured it out is really cool!

It works out cheaper to get Air Manager. You also have a much bigger choice of instruments and it’s all in one App.

This is the first option I tried and it works very well, no messing around, plus as an extended desktop on the ipad, this can be used for several other situations not involving MSFS. Thanks for the suggestion.

I use Aeromate or Garmin Pilot with fs2ff. I recommend it to everyone, one of the best solutions for the iPad
