IRIS PC-24 coming to MSFS

I have the PC-9 and PC-21 and also the PC-24 in P3D and they all looks and works very well.
But, the support from IRIS Simulation is absolutely a no go.
If you have a problem, like me ( have lost my password to my account) you will never get an responce to your tickets or e-mails, even if you tried it with all avaible adresses.
Such a shame! But perhaps its only my very personal expiriences.

Getting licensed by the manufacturer is just another way devs try to make money. It is in no way shape or form a guarantee that it will be a study level aircraft. There are other flightsim aircraft that are approved by the manufacturer that have very little system depth.

I believe the default Asobo citation lattitude is licensed by the manufacturer, and we all know how that thing is.

Hope theyā€™ll fix it somedayā€¦

I had their PD-5, Spartan and Warthog. The A-10 was excellent, the others not bad.

I would love to see them release the PC-21. It is my favorite aircraft in P3D. I do look forward to seeing the new PC-9 and PC-24.

Instabuys for me. Their PC-9 was one of my favourite FSX/P3D single/tandem seaters and great fun as well as an excellent cockpit and more to the point, an excellent manual. I did like their T-6 as well, until I got into VR, when I realised it had a 2D VC panel and stopped flying it.

Iā€™ve had zero issues with David Briceā€™s support (or his wife - I forgot her name) and when I bought my first product of theirs - the FGR2 Phantom - I realised Iā€™d made a mistake and should have bought the FG1 for the proper VC - they gave me it for free, along with advice on how to get the FG1 VC into the FGR2, as I was new to FSX at the time.

They also had a $5 sale every December without fail - which allowed me to buy practically their entire hangar for a ridiculously low price.

I loved flying their F-14A/B, even though it wasnā€™t really my kind of thing - never forget my first flgiht, where I pulled a high-G turn and blewout both engines and had to try gliding to a forced landing (didnā€™t make it as I couldnā€™t find a clear enough spot). Even though it was very simplified in the VC operation, it was great fun and looked good.

***edit - see it here on my website:

Their C-27J was great for things like Air Hauler, too, even if the VC was bit uninspiring. I know that Chris Frishmuth/BeachAV8R of PC Pilot is a big fan, too, for the same reasons.

Iā€™ll likely buy anything they produce for this sim, as long as itā€™s the kind of aircraft I will fly.

Hereā€™s a link to SkyVector. Good info including a list of nearby airports:

There is a nice freeware scenery for The Vale on flightsim.to! Would recommend it, I fly in and out of there a lot in the sim! Lovely location. (No need for all those asset packs either, I only have ones that are used by other sceneries I have installed too)

Here is an overview of what to expect, maybe the cockpit will look better than this 2016 model maybe it will almost be the same 3D model - there are no screenshots yet:

The stall speed is 90 knots which is superb because other typical STOL bush-planes like the Cessna Caravan (65kn) and Quest Kodiak (60kn) are not much ā€œbetterā€.

The only thing not possible is a very short take-off, the runway lenght for starting must be 900 meters, while the Quest Kodiak uses 1000 feet of runway (~300 meters) and the Caravan uses 2,500 ft / 762 m runway.

Let`s hope they get these iconic and awesome looking faux fur seats somehow into the virtual cockpit.

Thank you very much for the heads up! I wasnā€™t aware, will definitely install and visit there more often. Especially when the PC24 is releasedā€¦ REALLY looking forward to that!

Thx!
That fixed the problem that the airport was not there

Thatā€™s a strange conclusion since the minimum approach speed is Vst x 1.3, which means 117kts vs 78kts which is a lot.

Furthermore stall speed depends a lot on weight and at low weight e.g. a A319 has a lower stall speed than the PC-12

OT but nice to know: Global Xpress have lower VREF than Challengers because they have slats, even if heavier

The lack of slats, one of biggest drawbacks of MSFS :frowning:

No PC12 coming to the sim. I use to fly as a passenger very frequently on a new pc12 and I loved that airplane! Company also had a Honda jet. Honda jet flew higher and faster but man I really loved the pc 12 and would love to fly one in my sim.

Iā€™m pretty sure that Carenado will do one since they had a really nice one for FSX/P3D.

If they do, I will buy it.

Letā€™s not get too pedantic about their choice of words.

Looking forward to this!!

From what they say on their Facebook, it sounds like the PC9 will be first.
